On the 27th October I was unfortunaly involved in an accident that was not my fault .There was 2 witnesses to varify this .Also a police report .This company in there wisdom accepted the other driver's version of event's. Same thing happened to me...i was asked how my car was stolen...to which my reply of "well someone got into drivers seat started the engine somehow and drove it away"was classed as aggressive and rude... one rep actually said that i should report my autistic daughter to the police and have her arrested for stealing my keys as she was the last known person to have seen the car key that was attached to my front door key...they never told me that they had retrieved my car from police pound and sent it to their salvage people...when I asked how to get my personal things back they said they would ensure that IF anything was in car they would have it posted to me...its my word against theirs and I had quite a few things in my car..bank card drivers liçense and car docs etc as well as personal details on prescriptions that I left in glove box..i ticked certain boxes for courtesy car etc but that was left off so I'm told.also it actually turns out that comprehensive cover lets you drive someone else's car with permission BUT ONLY IF you are still in possession of vehicle on policy and hasn't been subject to damage beyond repair resulting from theft and is recovered in police compound...its a complete joke from start to now.
